Come explore Idaho's Panhandle, Hell's Canyon and Sandpoint to experience the northwest Rockies like you never have before!
Hell's Canyon is the deepest gorge in North America plunging to depths of nearly 8,000 feet. Depending on the time of year and your group's desire this river can take you through some of the best rapids in the west and in calmer sections it is a perfect time to learn about the natural history of the area which is rich with lore.
During our time on the river we will have a chance to check out Native American Pictographs, learn about the history of Hells Canyon and about the people that inhabited this place in the Civil War days.
The Snake River cuts through the Seven Devils Range of the Colorado Rockies and borders Oregon and Washington. We generally begin the trip in Spokane, Washington and drive south to Lewiston to begin our journey. We will be exploring the river by boat, camping on beaches in the evenings, and paddling throughout the day. Perhaps on some of the calmer rapids we can try our hands at fishing. This area is known for its trout fishing. Keep your eyes peeled throughout the trip for wildlife such as deer, elk, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep.
When we're not on the water there is an array of activities that we can provide such a yoga, team building activities, beach games, campfires, nature hikes and exploration of the area that we will be settled in over the next few days on and off the water.
