Lifeschool is offering the unique opportunity to explore California’s most
famous and inspiring desert eco-system, Death Valley. Students will
have the time of their life building closer friendships, experiencing
the magic of the desert in spring time and adventuring into the backcountry.
We’ll
explore slot canyons, massive sand dunes, volcanic craters, mountaintops
and “Devil’s Golf Course”, the lowest place in North
America at 300 feet below sea level! The science possibilities are
as endless as the adventure.
Go Adventure itineraries are built around flexibility to ensure we can interact
with the ever changing conditions in the wilderness. It sounds pretty
hardcore, but actually this trip is well suited for newcomers to the
outdoors.
Group size is limited to 8 to 10, and the students will be accompanied
by 2 Lifeschool Wilderness Guides.
Lifeschool
provides organic food, transportation
and much of the needed backpacking equipment. Students are responsible
for their own clothing and personals. Please review the Packing
List prior to attending the orientation. Lifeschool can loan you
much of the necessary equipment at no extra charge if you do not have
your own.
