Go Adventure is Lifeschool’s flagship program offering highly customized outings for youth, schools or private groups of ten or more people. Outings are available from April 15 thru October 15 each year. Programs are designed from 2 to 31 days in length and can include themes like teambuilding, fun, rite of passage, wilderness navigation, challenge, class bonding, service, reflection – or all the above.

We offer three main categories of courses yet hybrid outings that involve multiple components have become very common.

Go Adventure Wilderness

Go places where the only sounds you hear are from your friends and the nature that surrounds you. See only sights that are breathtaking and untamed. Solitude, rugged adventure and inspiring nature are always nearby. The backcountry experience leaves an impression that lasts a lifetime. Go Adventure wilderness trips are physically challenging yet designed with beginner to athletic ability levels in mind. Wilderness trip activity choices include backpacking, bay kayaking, sea kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, surfing, SCUBA and white water rafting.

Go Adventure Tours

Go Adventure Go Adventure Tours combine front-country urban activities and cultural activities with ‘car camping’ or wilderness experiences. Hybrid trips like these are custom designed to include camping, hosteling, national park visits, hiking and biking, a day in a nearby city, say Seattle or San Francisco or in an international setting – destination options are vast. If a hybrid experience sounds fun, Go Adventure Tours may be perfect for you.

Tour trip activity choices include US or international eco-tours, day hikes, rafting or kayaking, marine laboratory or state preserve visits, museums or cultural activities, musicals or plays, urban walking tours, college tours and youth hostel stays.

Go Adventure Service

Through our partnerships with various non-profits, Native American groups, Habitat for Humanity, organic food producers like Soil Born Farms, community supported food pantries and kitchens such as Loaves & Fishes, trail crews and wilderness management, Go Adventure Service offers the perfect community service activity for your group.

There is no more humbling and fulfilling experience than helping those who need it most. Service trip activity choices are boundless but may include cultural immersion in Central or South America, organic farming, food distribution, wilderness conservancy and more. A service trip is designed to share the benefits of ‘giving back’, to teach students the value of service to others.

Logistics Overview/Timeline:

The Go Adventure season runs from April 15 to October 15. Available dates are limited as groups often request similar dates so we recommend securing dates in the fall or winter previous to the year you hope to be on trail. Once the staff work with you to create your ideal basic itinerary, you’ll be quoted a price and sent a contract. After the contract is returned with a 25%, non-refundable deposit your dates will be secured and Lifeschool will begin booking camping and acquiring the needed permits. We will ask you (the group coordinator, teacher or principal) if the trip is progressing according to your expectations, offering you frequent opportunities to provide feedback. Lifeschool's goal is always to meet or exceed your expectations.

Additional services are available for a fee, including but not limited to

Coordination of airport shuttle to and from a central pickup location near your home

Airfare reservations, group discounts and coordination

Upgraded restaurants or menu, subcontracted activities like scuba or horseback riding, upgraded lodging/camping/hosteling/transportation

Custom created DVD slideshow with a soundtrack and student name credits, upon completion of your trip

Longer stay logistics, reservations and recommendations if you decide to extend your travels

T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and Go Adventure gear
